Hmmmmmm

Well, I've created my page. It's not all that great yet, but it's a start. Chris really has his work cut out for him.  I pray that the blogs our church family will be creating will bless and reach people who need Jesus.

I'm starting a new job in a month, and I'm excited. It is a great opportunity for me personally, but it's also a great opportunity to share Jesus with many people who may not know him as their Lord and Savior. I hope that my behavior and attitude at work will make people want what I have. Sometimes I catch myself grumbling and complaining, and I'm convicted about it. Saved people should be the happiest people on the planet because we know how the story ends (even if things aren't going our way at the moment).  I went to a Beth Moore conference a little over a week ago with some of my sisters in Christ and it was awesome (btw 17,000 women praising and worshiping together -with a few brave men- is a totally awesome experience).  Beth taught out of James, and it couldn't have been more appropriate.  James 1: 2-3  "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience."  Sometimes I get so wrapped up with what's NOT going right in my life that I forget to look at what IS going right.  God often puts people in my path that are in much more dire straights than I've ever dealt with, and he humbles me.  God makes it a point to remind me that if I don't humble myself, he'll do it for me.
